The shorter back strap helps keep the harness properly in place. This allows the chest strap to sit correctly on the ribcage, improving both comfort and stability during movement.

When should you choose a short back harness?
This version is mainly designed for dogs with a compact build. In these dogs, a standard harness can be too long, affecting the overall fit.

This is also something we see in dogs that are slightly overweight. You may choose a larger size based on chest measurement, but the longer back section can cause the harness to sit incorrectly. A short back harness helps restore the correct balance.
